Franklin, Tennessee is a historic city that two different organizations have named one of America's best places. In 2009 The National Trust for Historic Preservation awarded Franklin their prestigious Distinctive Destination distinction due to its authentic visitor experience combining dynamic downtowns and cultural diversity while also being attractive enough for people from all over! And just last year American Planning Association put forth ten great neighborhoods where you can find this little gem-selected because there's so much going on around town. Downtown Franklin is a beautiful place to visit any time of year.
